The Shiho Bugei Kai is separated into three divisions. The Kenpo (Ryukyu Hon Kenpo) Division deals exclusively with the empty hand or karate side of the RHKK system. The Kobujutsu (Ryukyu Hon Kobujutsu) Division is exclusive to weapons training and advancement. A person can also elect to train and advance in the total Ryukyu Hon Kenpo Kobujutsu system. This allows the individual to simultaneously advance in both systems. This allows freedom for individuals or dojos to complement their martial arts education with all or part or the RHKK system.
The individual membership is for each dojo member or members at large. Lone or displaced members as well as members of large dojos are considered in this group. All students of RHKK in SBK dojos or sponsored by RHKK/SBK instructors must be individual members.
Individual membership allows association with fellow members, and allows members to participate as guests at member dojos. To be a member in good standing, one must be practicing the respective katas correctly and representing the SBK, the RHKK and their respective dojos by good example.
